Building a PC for the first time, advice and recommendations

So far this is what im getting
CPU- intel i5 4690 o.5GHz
Motherboard-Mod 1150 Asus Z97-A ATX
RAM-HyperX fury series 16GB DDR3 1866MHz
Graphics card-Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 4GB
Memory-Kingston Tech 120GB SSD and WB 1T SATA
Fan-Cooler master hyper 212 evo with artic compound
Power supply- Corsair builder series CX 500W Bronze power supply
Monitor- LG 34UM57 ultra wide 2560x1080
OS system-windows 7
case- CiT vanquish gaming tooless case with USB3 port and 2x2pin fans

1. is this set up good in general for the price? of £840
2.will this set up work on the 34" ultrawide?
3. will i need a bigger power supply (dont know much about this part)
4. will the windows 7 be good enough for the system+monitor
5. is this system to overclock?

1) yes its pretty good I would change the CPU to an i5 4460 (get a second opinion on that)
2) I think yes as it's still 1080p

4)Yep but windows 10 will offer better gaming performance and is pretty good.
5) The GPU can be but I think all can. The CPU cannot be however you do have a overclocking board which you dont need. Go for somthing around the £50-£60 mark will give you good. Ask someone whos an expert please on that.

All in all pretty good. Please can an expert from the fourms check this over before you go with what i've said im not really a pro.
