Hi!

I’m building a PC for my fiancée from scratch.
United States, Colorado, Colorado Springs
Everything but mouse, mouse pad and keyboard.

Approximate Purchase Date: the sooner the better, this week

Budget Range: 1200 USD before taxes and shipping, no rebates

System Usage: gaming, surfing, movies and videos, some photoshop, no modeling, no video editing or protein folding

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: none, you tell me

Location: United States, Colorado, Colorado Springs

Parts Preferences: slight preference to intel and nvidia

Overclocking: no or maybe, never did it

SLI or Crossfire: Probably not, getting one good GPU seems better, but I’m open to suggestions

Your Monitor Resolution: at least 1080p, hoping for 1440p, preferably LED, nothing ultra wide or curved

Additional Comments: dont care about rgb or see through cases or anything fancy visually, we have 3 cats for 600 sq ft or 60 m2, lots of cat hair, good filters that can be cleaned are crucial

I can’t think of anything else, please ask questions.
Thanks in advance!
