How does this build look? I know that the R9 280X is better, but the idea is that in a few months down the line i can add another one in. Also, is there any new PC parts coming out in a few months that i should wait for? All feedback is appreciated.

Build looks fine except for the Psu. I'd probably up the Psu to a 600w. Since you are going to SLI the 960's, 500w is cutting it a little close I think. Also, since you are wanting to SLI in the future, I understand using a z97 chipset motherboard instead of a cheaper h97 option.

It costs a bit more, but I think this would be a better option based on sales for your PSU:

Power Supply: XFX 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£62.48 @ Novatech)
Total: £62.48

Well if your budget is 900 pounds, then yes. I can suggest upgrades, but only if your budget is larger. Otherwise, this is an excellent build for gaming at 1080p at 60fps at high settings.

with a non k cpu use a h97 mb it save you some funds. also a 128g ssd is just ok for the os and one or two aps. save your money for a 256g drive. for the gpu the amd r300 line is dropping soon. some time in the next few months intel skylake cpu is also dropping with windows 10 in july.

Thank you to all who answered, i hope you understand why i needed help when i say this is my first build. And im not too sure what im doing, but i think putting it together will be easy as i have been watching some build guides. Ill keep an eye out, it might be a few months before i actually start building and buying
