Question Building a streaming and gaming PC need help.

Hello everyone!

It has been a very long time since I posted on here, but I would love some help from the community!

So I'm getting more serious into streaming. And with me trying to use my PC to game and stream just puts too much stress on the PC, frame rates drop by 30-40, especially on a strenuous game like CoD MW.

So my idea is to take my old PC after upgrading and use that as a stream PC. So my question is what is ideal for a streaming PC hardware wise?

I will post my current build for the streaming PC , so you can guys can get a better idea of what I am running for it, the only difference is it won't have an mk.2 SSD and it won't have my 2070. Those will be replaced with a normal SSD and a Strix 970.

My second question is should I invest into the thread ripper AMD CPUs to take advantage of the quad channel ram usage for my new gaming PC? Or that a bit overkill for what I'm doing?

Stream build (work in progress)
CPU - I7-6700k
GPU - 970 Strix
RAM - 32gbs DDR4 3200
Mobo - GigaByte G5 Gaming


P.S One more question, 3 in 1 here I apologise. Does anyone have any suggestions for my new PC build? I'm going to be running a 2070 buts that I know so far, any suggestions would helpful!

Anywhere between 1500-2000 CDN. Anything more for what I already have is just overkill.

My current case is Obsidian Series™ 750D Airflow Edition Full Tower ATX Case. Using that for my streaming pc
New Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case

Main: ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR 27” G-SYNC 165Hz (2560x1440) 1ms
Second: ASUS VG278Q 27" G-SYNC 144Hz (1920x1080) 1ms

I'm looking upgrade the motherboard, ram, and processor.
