Hi,

So like the title says, I have chosen my core, and I just needed help in limiting my search for other parts. I went onto the Intel website, found my core, and I saw the following:

Memory types: DDR3 1333/1600
# of Memory channel: 2

So does this mean that I can only get two sticks of DDR3 RAM? Furthermore, only 133/1600 Mhz?

My question is what restraints do I have when selecting other parts of my build due to my i7 processor?

Thanks

You can go up to 4 sticks, and any clock, provided your motherboard has the slots and you're willing to set a XMP, respectively. You'd probably want a Z97 MB, but that's the only restraint, as far as I can remember.
