I'm putting together a parts list for my first built PC at the moment, but I have a few questions. Heres my parts list so far:

Also, I should mention that this build isn't for personal use, I'm just making it for experience, and then I'll sell it. I guess I'm making a gaming PC, or I could switch to a general use high end PC. Whatever you guys think would be best 😛

Here are my questions:

1. What do you guys suggest for a CPU cooler?
2. Will 1066 RAM be fine with my higher end build?
3. Is the GFX card I chose any good? I don't really know the specs and stuff with GFX cards
4. Suggestions for a case? I really like the one I chose, but I've looked at the reviews, and everyone says it's horrible.

Thanks guys! 😀

Solution
well if you already bought it, we can stick with them

Slight change in parts and stuffs
I like the Antec 302 :)
Cheaper 650ti boost (conisder a 7850 if you like to OC)

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($166.15 @ Vuugo)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($28.79 @ DirectCanada)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($83.19 @ DirectCanada)
Memory: Kingston 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1066 Memory (Purchased For $25.00)
Memory: Kingston 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1066 Memory (Purchased For $25.00)
Storage:...
That Ram will be fine and not really affect performance much at all.

The GPU will plat modern games at mostly medium settings at 1080p.

Don't forget that you will never be able to sell a personal built gaming PC for as much as you paid for the parts.

Get a Coolermaster hyper 212 evo if you want to overclock. If no overclocking, the stock cooler is fine.

Solution
Thanks for the tips, I'll take them into consideration! What do you mean I won't be able to sell it for as much as I paid for the parts though? Like if it's bran new, people should be paying for the parts + hours of labour, no? I just want to break even, will that not be possible?

Edit: Thats a nice case! I like your considerations, thanks!

It will be VERY hard to break even. PC parts TANK in value as soon as they are taken out of the box. No one will want to pay for a used system. Used for a minute or used for a year is still used.

Plenty of people try and fail.

Also, drop one dvd drive. There is little use for one let alone 2.

Wow, really? It's a good thing I didn't build this thing yet though. I'll probably find someone who wants to get a new computer and build one for them instead. In the meantime, maybe I'll create a new parts list for a new personal computer. Thanks for the help guys!

And @Tiny Voices, what do you mean "There is little use for one, let alone 2"? Are you implying CDs/DVDs are being phased out? I don't think having a 20 dollar DVD drive could ever be a bad thing!
