Building my first computer (gaming rig) ever! Need feedback!!

Hi there! I am a noobie to this whole "pick your own parts and build it yourself" concept, as my parents were never tech savvy and just bought factory-made computers whenever we would get one. However, the ironic thing is that I work as a student employee at my community college in their IT department. I know how to operate a computer well, I just have never really dealt with the hardware first-hand...so I am trying to better myself by doing this, as well as make a kick ass new gaming computer! I am posting these parts from my NewEgg list in hopes that I can get some feedback on my current decisions and maybe make some better choices/come out knowing it's alright to go through with this purchase! I had a little help from some of my buddies that I work with in the IT department that know hardware a lot better than I do... but I picked some of the things out, too, so I just want to make sure that all of these parts will work together to create a nice setup. P.S: The WiFi adapter is there because I live in the back woods where we cannot get an Ethernet cable hooked into our house, so I have to use wireless internet. So don't worry about that unless you have a better suggestion for one

After going through a couple of Logitech's Highend $90 mice I picked up this cheap Gigabyte mouse and couldn't be happier with it.

Gigabyte has some more expensive models that might be worth a look too.

I like your build. I would probably go for 8GB RAM and you don't really need the thermal compound and remover. (The heatsink comes with some and you can use rubbing alcohol to clean if needed) PSU is overkill too.

ok, instead of the WD Caviar Black, either save $20 with a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500 GB ($39.99), or get the Seagate 7200.12 or Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB for $5 more ($64.99)

Get the Acer 23" monitor for $149.99

the 902 is a nice case, but look into the 300 Illusion (%69.99) or the Rosewill Destroyer ($49.99) as well.

the PSU is overkill, go for a 550W from XFX ($69.99) which can handle even 2 560s in SLI.

the saved money will get you a 64 or 80 GB SSD for a boot drive and your heavy load games. OCZ Agility 2 is the best choice for either size.
