building my first gaming/editing build

building a PC for editing and gaming precisely I'll do about 50 to 55% of gaming (by this i mean all general task and even some heavy titles too) and rest 50 to 45% editing and 3D modelling animation and all that stuff.

the build I've planned -

i7 7700k processor
asus maximus 9 hero motherboard
16GB gskill 3000mhz ram
samsung evo 960 250GB m.2 ssd
Seagate barracuda 4TB hdd
corsair h115i or h100i v2 cooler
corsair rmx 750w psu
corsair 450D or nzxt s340 case
nvidia 1080ti or 1080 GPU (Asus or Gigabyte)
LG 24MP88HM or HP 24ES monitor

1st thing i want to know is that will all these components be compatible or will i face any problem regarding my build?

2nd places where I'veI've put OR i actually wanna know one of those will be best any other suggestion will be highly appreciated.

3rd i reallyreally want to know that all these components will fit perfectly in corsair 450D?

P.S.- I'm learning animation and stuff so i want a PC that should be viable for like 5 to 7 years i won't change a component till then exception about RAM coz i may upgrade it to 32 or 64 gigs in future..

In your case I'd look at a ryzen 1700 it'll perform better in the non gaming side and is competitive in gaming.

i was expecting an answer about Ryzen.. well to be frank i really don't want that much power for now.. i know it's quite powerful but the thing is RAM choices are really confusing and as it is a new platform.. can't say for sure how well will it do in future and they don't cover overclocking warranty too anyways thanks for the suggesting but regarding the build I've planned is there any other suggestion can you give? 🙂

Ryzen runs at a lower useage in games where the fps numbers are similar so it has the power to do what you want and a 1700 is the same price. Any of the high end gskill tridents should work fine, if not the gskill flarex will.

The build is fine but when you can improve performance and almost certainly improve longevity for less or the same money why wouldn't you.

I've had an FX 8150 and after 4 years the mobo fried so I'm really not looking to buy an AMD for now and I'm from India here i7 7700k costs about 3k or 4k less than an Ryzen 7 series i strongly agree that Ryzen 7 are great processor​ but I've quiet made up my mind to buy an Intel for now.. maybe i upgrade processor and mobo in future but i want to know my questions which I've posted too that what should i buy in the given choices and about the case and the rest stuff

I must agree. The Zen 1600X would be the way to go 6 cores 12 threads. The price would be lower and also that GTX 1080 is massive overkill for a 1080p monitor.
This would give you better editing and work program performance, 32GB of memory, 250GB SSD for the OS and programs, 525 GB SSD for all your main games, 3TB regular hard drive (you can add another if/when needed). GTX 1070 is plenty of overkill for either of those monitors.
The FX series like the 8150 were bad processors even when first released the new Zen are much better. The OC warranty would never even enter my mind since if you do it right it's safe and no harm to the processor.
Did I mention even with the upgrades it saves you a lot of money!!!!!!!

Not sure what you mean by that. It's buildable and usable right now as listed.

He means how long in the future. It'll be viable at least as long as an i7 for a z270 platform if not longer

Nobody can see the future but I would expect for the gaming side about 5/6 years (just as long as the i7 or longer with the extra cores) with a video card upgrade in the middle of that (common for a gaming PC to upgrade the card after a few years). For the work programs it would depend on how intensive your work gets, comes with 6 cores 12 threads and 32GB of memory with the option to upgrade to 8 cores and 16 threads with 64GB of memory in the future.
