Hello,

I'm going to building my first PC, I picked out my parts but i'm concerned about compatibility issues, I know PC part picker is good about doing that automatically but it can't detect things like CPU cooler fitting with ram.

This is my list

Note: I already have the power supply in house so I can't change it easily (Past 30 days)

I also looked at the reviews for the motherboard and they don't seem very good, but I can't really find another one for the same price.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Solution
I literally never look at reviews for PC components. Like not user reviews anyway.too Many people don't know what they're doing and write a bad review for something they screwed up. Looks good now.

Don't love the power supply but it's not a hand grenade so live with it.

I've heard the person I respect most on memory issues state that those gskill aegis memory sticks don't play well with ryzen. Look for some ripjaws/flares/tridents and it should be fine

I changed the ram like you said, what about the motherboard do you think it's fine despite the reviews?

Got it, thanks!

I'm not 100% sure what you mean about the bios/ram thing though as I have never messed with the bios before.

Your ram will boot at 2400 mhz on first boot like all ram. You'll have to go into bios and set it up. There will be either a xmp or docp setting in your bios, enable the 3000 mhz profile, but manually change speed to 2933 before your exit bios
