I've been running the same system for a long time now (i5 4690k / GTX 1060) and decided to treat myself and I saved up to get a pretty insane PC.
I've decided to order an i7 10700k, and an RTX 2080 super (Those are the main players here). Other specs include 16gb RAM, NVME Storage etc. I decided to go for this configuration for the intenion to keeping the components for roughly 4-5 years. In your experience with computer parts, do you think this PC will age well (I hope so) or will I likely need to upgrade down the line?
To give you a better understanding of what will be hitting it - I have a 1440p monitor and I'd like to play pretty much any game I throw at it on as max settings as possible, and for as long as possible too!
Leaving this also open for discussion as I think this is an interesting topic.
