I think I have everything built for this new build. I hit the power button to go into the bios to set up windows and I have hdmi connected from the mobo to my monitor, and there is no display. How can I get the bios to display.
I have the cpu 8pin plugged in also. Ok so I removed the Gtx 960 and is onboard graphics from the mobo and something finally showed. It says "reboot and pluggin something
Ok, so it posting but there's no os to boot to yet. Could be a bad gpu or the gpus hdmi port. You atleast should be able to use the system without the 960 to get the OS installed.
Can you try another port on the 960(dvi or displayport)? I have seen a few cards that wouldn't display the bios through HDMI. You could also install the os and after that's done, reinstall the 960 and try again.
Where was the HDMI cable plugged in before you removed the 960? There should be a screen where it'll say "press f12, del, or some other key" to enter BIOS
