[SOLVED] Building Two AMD-based PCs: Don't Get Past Lighting Up the Keyboard

I am building two AMD Ryzen-based PCs at the same time. I got the following components:
2 x power Nox Urano VX 650W 80+ Bronze 120MM PWM
2 x boxes Corsair Carbide 275Q USB 3.0 Black
2 x Kingston A400 SSD 240GB
1 x motherboard MSI A320M-A PRO MAX
1 x motherboard Biostar A320MH
1 x AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 4.40GHz
1 x AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz
2 x memory Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 8GB CL16
1 x memory Corsair Value Select DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 8GB CL16

According to the seller's webpage, memory, processors, and motherboards should all be compatible. However, I am not making it past light in the keyboard. I have tried all possible combinations of memory, processor, and motherboard, to no avail.

I have looked at the MSI A320M-A PRO MAX webpage, and there is a compatibility checker https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-A-PRO-MAX/support#cpu - and it looks like the Ryzens are ok. However, there is no mention of either Corsair. The Vengeance sticks I got are CMK8GX4M1A2400C16 ver5.30, and in the compatibility table, CMK16GX4M2A2400C16 ver3.31 appears. The other Corsair stick is CMV8GX4M1A2400C16.

There is also a compatibility checker for the Biostar motherboard - https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=912. I find the 5600G 4.4GHz Ryzen there and the 3600 3.6 GHz as well. The memory sticks above are not shown, but there are several 2400s. The only Corsair is CMK16GX4M2B3000C15. They emphasize that the table is not complete.

The AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz came without the original box, so there may be a problem there...

Finally, the on-led doesn't come on for the MSI. I have checked the front panel connections and compared them with the manual. Looks alright.

Am I in trouble because of the memory sticks, or is something else awry? Any help much appreciated.

I'm pretty sure, the A320 chipset boards won't come with the necessary BIOS version to allow you to drop the 5600G onto said board, you're most likely going to have to use an older processor part and then update the BIOS to the latest version before dropping the 5600G in there.

I wish you got another PSU for your builds. Along those lines, how are you getting your display out for the build with the Ryzen 5 3600?

For the 3600 not working it has no built in graphics so you must use a video card.

A video card with the 3600 works. Now updating BIOS in order to switch to 5600G. Thanks guys!
