Hi, I wanna build a small portable computer.

Will these parts work well together?
Case: In Win BP671
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI
CPU: AMD A10-7870K Black Edition, Socket-FM2+
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX950 2GB Mini

The only thing I'm concered about is that the PSU that comes with that case is only 250W and I need some more. Any tips on small PSUs?

The 4170 is perfect. Enough for gaming? That question is totally abstract. Your question should be, is the 4170 enough for the 950?

The answer is indeed yes. If you're going one of the better mid range cards, like a 280X, 380, or 380X, and anything better than that, you should grab a 4690k at least. If you have extra money for the processor and for DDR4, then the 6600k would be better. But for you, the 4170 is a great chip.
What is your main use for this pc?
Is it for gaming, or just general use?
You buy an APU because of the very good integrated graphics.
It is quite good for what it does.
But, what you buy is what you will have forever; there are no good upgrades.

For example, a GTX950 is a nice midrange graphics card.
Using one will negate the advantage of the apu and you are left with a slow cpu.
But, it needs a aux 6 pin power connector that typically comes on a 450w psu.
connector. And you would need a half height card that will not fit in that case.
Lastly inwin is not going to use a quality psu.

You can do better.

Well, this will tie into your PSU. Stay away from the AMD. If you get an Intel with smaller lithography, you'll have lower heat output, which is important in a Mini ITX case, as there's lot a lot of room in them. A good core i3 like this one will give you less heat output, and chop 40W off your total wattage, meaning lower wattage power supply. And trust me, lower wattage power supplies are gonna be smaller than higher wattage ones.

OK, I've made a new decision. I like the In Win BP671 case because it's small and looks nice. So I wanna go with these specs:

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI, Socket-1150
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX950 2GB Mini

and I'm also gonna re-use some of my old specs, that being:
8GB RAM (2x4)
250GB SSD
3TB HDD

and then later I might upgrade to 16GB RAM and upgrade to the be quiet! PowerSupply (PSU) TFX Power 2 300W Gold PSU.

Does that sound good? Can I do all that on a 250W PSU? As I said I think I'll upgrade to a 300W PSU later.

Uh... Your system needs a lot more than 300W. Buy a solid 650W power supply. Budget doesn't matter. A good power supply is more important than a good graphics card.

Other than that the PC looks fantastic. However, if I were you, I'd downgrade to a cheaper core i3 with 2 cores 4 threads, that's all you need, unless you plan on upgrading the graphics card. The money saved could be used towards a new power supply.

But I haven't got a lot of PSU choice because that case is so small. But is i3 enough for gaming? That's what I'd like to know. Or else I would buy a i5 4460.

But any tips on good PSUs? I've just found one that fits and that is the be quiet! PowerSupply (PSU) TFX Power 2 300W Gold.
