Built new computer, turned on once now won't.

so I built a new computer, got everything hooked up fine and plugged it in to the wall and monitor.

Computer seemed to trip up the first time I turned the power on, made it past the bios screen then shut down. Second time it was working fine got the windows cd in, it started installing and then as per the process the computer tried to reboot. It was unsuccessful. I attempted to turn it back on and everything started however the computer made it about 7seconds before I heard a click and everything turned off. Didn't even make it to the bios screen. Never had this happen to me before would be glad for the help.

if it restarts go straight in the bios for a minute or 2 and look at cpu temperatures

personally thats the first thing i do before installing windows so you know theres no problems with the cooler
