burned old celly?

a friend of mine gave me his old celeron 333 slot 1 he said it does not work anymore so he got another. i saw it working so it was good. now i tried speed on my Mb, i even cut the b21 pin to make it work. nothing
Mobo does not make any sound, monitor dark no signal, ide led works for 20 sec, stil the celly gets warmer.
My friend never OC it, comes with a good cooler, retail one the long black encapsulated (it's now on my proc
