Burning smell that gets stronger each day

Solution
If you smell a burning smell you shouldn't even try to use the computer. Open it up and check each part and keep an eye out for any melting, burning, or scratched/damaged components and figure out where the smell is coming from.

Already opened it up today and a few days back. Couldn't spot any damage to any parts. I could smell burning near the PSU but I want to make sure 100% that it's the PSU and nothing else before looking to buy another. Thanks.

I think that would be the best way as I will be upgrading this build entirely. Will be buying a 700W+ PSU since i'm going to be doing an SLI 980 ti however there is the problem of wearing the PSU out since the upgrade will be started around August next year. In other words I will be degrading the performance of the PSU with my current build and I don't want my 'Upgrade build' to be lacking because of it.
