[SOLVED] bus interface running at x4 3.0 instead of x16 4.0

according to GPU-Z it says PCIe x16 4.0 @ x4 3.0
is this affecting my performace? how do i fix?

ryzen 7 3700x
asus rog strix b450-f gaming

Is your GPU active when you are checking? GPUs narrow the PCIe bus to save power when they are not heavily used.

Yes, I ran heaven benchmark and kept refreshing GPU-Z but nothing changed.

A 3700x will never run at PCIe 4.0 speed. It does not support PCIe 4.0. Your limited to 3.0 with that CPU.
