[SOLVED] Butterfly Labs power supply?

Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone knows the quality of the Butterfly Labs BF1 power supply. It's pretty cheap and only has a 1yr warranty, but does anybody know it's exact quality and what it would compare to?

The efficiency rating is a very poor way of judging a PSU's quality, especially when the rating is fake.

lol. 80+ certification means very little about a PSUs quality. I know that, that's why I didn't mention it

They're Great Wall. It's their cheapest Gold level product. Like, Corsair CS-M-ish.

It's not horrible.

Like I said in the thread @bignastyid linked, it was good enough for Corsair to consider it.

Just keep in mind the complete lack of warranty.

Last question, if you were to place it on the PSU tier list. What tier would it be?
It’s about the same price as an EVGA 500 W1, and I know those things aren’t good.

It's actually LLC with DC to DC, so it's better than CV. It's like "CX Gold".

Oh dang. That sounds pretty good then huh? You think even with the lack of warranty it’s worth it for $50? Would be using it for PC flips.
