Buy 1070ti now or wait for 1170?

I know this is usually a meme question but it looks like we're actually only a couple of months out at this point so I'm actually kinda tempted to wait. 1070ti is going for less than 500 right now and I haven't upgraded since 770 so I'm due.

Is it worth waiting another couple of months or should I pull the trigger on 1070ti?

I play every kind of game and specifically want overwatch at 1080p 144hz and farcry 5 at 1440p/60 hz

Experiment with lowering details until you get a frame rate that you are comfortable with. If no amount of lowering details gets you there or getting there means compromising more on graphics quality than you are willing to, then upgrade now.

you can wait if you want because who knows the 1170 could be faster than the 1070 its all up to you

If you think the real 1170 will come out in 2 months, then wait. But I doubt it will come out until Q4
