Buy a RTX 2080 or system upgrade?

Corsair H100i v2
DDR 3 2.40GHz 16GB 1.65v
860watts AX Corsair power supply
460x Corsair case with 6 fans
ASUS Maximu VII Z97 3201 bios
GTX 1060 6GB latest bios
Samsung 500GB EVO 850
I’m trying to play at 4K max out
Either I buy RTX 2080 and keep my current system or buy GTX 1080 with a 8700k or something budget for gaming 4K with the latest motherboard DDR 4 etc or what you guys suggest?

The way you are now....I think you are short on video more than anything....so I'd go with the video upgrade. Maybe not necessarily the RX2080.....but maybe...or maybe a 1080 Ti.

I think your CPU still has a way to go before it starts slowing you down in games....and you have plenty of memory.

If you have only an HDD...maybe get an SSD.

....but I'd go with a graphics upgrade and save the rest of my money for down the road.
