Buy Asus G14 or wait for laptop RTX 30 series??

Hi all,
Need a new system and considering a new laptop instead of PC. Been looking at the ASUS G14 and it looks great, better than a macbook pro at way less money. Still not cheap though. However I'm wondering how much benefit it would be for me to wait for the laptop Rtx 30 series gpus? Will there be a substantial difference between the 2060 in the G14 and a 30 series card?
I'll be video editing, not gaming, btw.

I mean yeah, definitely wait for the laptop 3k series adaptations if you aren't in a rush. The only difference is that you'll get more longevity out of it.
