I am planning on buying a new gpu, i was thinking of a rx 6600xt, rtx 3060 ti or just a rx 6600. And i need some advice, what should i buy, maybe my choice is bad, i was doing research for almost a month.

My specs :
CPU : Ryzen 7 1700x

GPU :RX 580 8GB (It's dying, had a lot of problems with it and it was a gpu used for mining for a short period of time, i got it as a gift basically, the person didn't need it, but he said that it was used for mining and gaming )

RAM : DDR4 16GB 3200 Mhz

MB : ASROCK A320 HDV R4.0

Some games are graphics limited like fast action shooters.
Others are cpu core speed limited like strategy, sims, and mmo.
Multiplayer tends to like many threads.

You need to find out which.
------------------------------------------------------------
To help clarify your CPU/GPU options, run these two tests:

Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

Both your cpu and your gpu are weak. Upgrade the least effective one first.
It may be a moot point if your gpu is failing.

What is the make/model of your psu?
A gpu upgrade may also need a stronger psu.

Thank you for the information.
Not worrying about a psu, i got a 1300W Corsair psu for free from a friend, cause some person just gave away their tech stuff from a shop or something.

GPU's, price would honestly be the biggest determining factor, the fastest would be the RTX 3060 TI, but if its priced way more than the RX 6600 XT, then it may not be worth it. What is your budget for this, and where are you located?
