Buying 980ti, time for psu upgrade?

So the title is pretty much the question, im going to pick up a 980ti Asus strix version today and I have a Cooler Master GX 750 W PSU and I was wondering if it will be enough for the card? And by the way I know I have the right connectors.

My specs:

i7-2600k @ 4.5ghz
250 gb ssd
16gb ram
p8z68-vpro gen 3

It is not their best PSU but will run that card.

750w is more than enough for the 980Ti plus your system. Though its not the best unit, it will work.

Thats exactly my concern, should i get a better quality psu or use this one for a while longer?

Personally I wouldn't skimp on the PSU if you can help it; however I've had crappy PSUs that lasted longer than better PSUs (CX750M vs two HX850s). But if you get 1000W+PSU that is quality then you can rest easier and consider SLI down the road. FYI my 5930K @4.5Ghz on 1.3V with SLI 980Tis max draw is usually 758W with demanding games.

You should still be fine running it (model numbers mentioned above).
If you do have concerns you can always get an EVGA G2 or GS unit or corsairs RMx units, 850w for some SLI headroom, and be worry free for years.

Yeah im thinking why risk anything when im spending close to 1000$ CAD on a card, i can add 100-150$ to be safe and future proof.
