Question Buying a laptop for Software Development

Hi there, I'm a CS student and I'm looking for a laptop for Software Development mainly. I'm looking for a laptop that has a long battery life when using browsers, Android Studio, VS Code etc. since my previous one can't even last 2 hours(it's a Dell Inspiron). I don't really care about the OS, I've worked mainly with windows and Linux. From the research that i did, I've landed on the Macbook Air 2019(i care about small bezels otherwise I'd go with the 2018 model). Do you think it's a good fit for my needs or do you have any better suggestions? Thanks in advance.
P.S: Budget is 1.3K Max

Apple Macbook Air 13 would be your best bet. Either 2018 or 2019 model.

If you prefer windows, then choose Dell XPS 13- 9370 or LG Gram 14.

These will last even longer the Apple Macbook Air 13.
