Hi
I have this configuration right now
Motherboard ASUS PRIME B360-PLUS LGA1151
Processor INTEL i5-9600К
Video card MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G
RAM Crucial Ballistix Sport 4Gb 2666MHZ DDR4 x4
NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 drive SSD Samsung 980 EVO M.2 500Гб,M.2
SATA 6Gb/s SSD drive SSD Samsung 860 EVO M.2 250Гб,M.2
HDD drive HDD 1Tb Toshiba
Power Supply CHIEFTEC CTG-550c (550W)
Case GameMax G503BK PRADRO
CPU cooling SilentiumPC Spartan 3 PRO HE1024
Fan COOLER PC Arctic F12 x2
Fan GameMax GaleForce GMX-GF12 Red-led x3

I need to move to a different country soon and want to sell my PC to buy a laptop.
However, I'm unsure which laptops have similar power to my current PC.
Can you recommend any models of mobile video cards and processors that I should consider?
Maybe you can suggest some reliable laptops for me to purchase in this category?
I mainly plan to use the laptop for internet browsing, watching movies, and playing games such as RDR2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Witcher 3.
thx

GTX1080 is roughly equivalent to a mobile 3050Ti or 4050. So start from there. I would probably look for a 3060 or 4060 laptop for a good mid-range performance. Something with a 1080p 144hz+ display. Typical cost would be around $1000 or Euro.

And you have 16GB of memory, that is not hard to come by. 750GB of SSD, again, 1TB is quite typical, but all your storage is still under 2TB. Not too many laptops ship with a 2TB drive, but most laptops will have room for at least one additional M.2 drive.

Actually surprised that power supply lasted this long running a GTX1080 and 9600k... Fairly low wattage and chieftec is not known for quality.

Looking at multiple laptops, I found the Gigabyte G5 KF.
- 15.6" 144 Hz
- Intel i5-12500H (2.50GHz)
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
- 8 GB DDR4
- 512 GB Gen4 SSD
What is your opinion on this set of features?

I've owned the CTG-550c for seven years.
Currently, I've had it for two years with i5-9600k and GTX1080.
At first, I used it with i3-7100 and RX570, then with i3-8100 and RX580, then with i3-8100 and GTX1070.

Hi, decided not to create a new topic, I'll ask in this one

There are two used laptops available to me right now.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ACH6
Display: 15.6" IPS 120Hz (1920x1080) Anti-glare!
Processor: Ryzen 7 5800H (8 cores / 16 threads) (4.4GHz)
Video card: RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD
Battery: 5h (9% Wear)

Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05
Display: 15.6' IPS 144Hz (1920x1080) 300nit
Processor: Ryzen 7 4800H (8 cores / 16 threads) (4.2GHz)
Video card: NVIDIA GTX 1650Ti 4GB (GDDR6)
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Samsung
Storage: 512GB Micron SSD NVMe SSD
Battery: 6-7h - (80mWh) (10% wear)

The IdeaPad Gaming 3 is asking $750 and the Legion 5 is asking $720

As to me they are very similar, I would like to get an outside opinion, which laptop is better to take?
