I'm upgrading to a 144hz monitor from my 60hz tv. I have 8 gb of ddr4 2133mhz (2x4). Should I buy a £240 monitor (Viewsonic XG2402) or a £200 monitor (Acer XF240H) and buy an extra 4 gb of ram so I will have 12gb. My motherboard has 4 ram slots, and in the games I play I get 100+ fps so it is definitely worth going for a 144hz monitor over 60/75.

Thanks

Monitor, Because Monitor pricing isn't completely insane right now. Where as RAM, you could get some cheap DDR4 Ram from a Used/throwaway Walmart PC. ALSO if you are going to Look through a window for several hours a day, you want that window to be as clear as possible. The same with a monitor. You want it to have the best resolution, best refresh rate, best color accuracy, etc.
