Buying a new computer, will it run games smoothly?

I am buying a new computer next week and I have my eye on a custom build that is down at a local shop of mine. The guy theres says it has
* 8 GB of ram
* 1 GB video card
* AMD Phenom X4 2.20GHz CPU
* 500gb hard drive
And the computer is $275...
I was wondering if this would run most games smoothly even on low-medium settings and was wondering if the price was okay?

It says 300w but the ps on this pc is only 265w, it should be okay for a while until I get a new power supply shouldnt it?

But beware, it's an sff case so low-pro GPUs only and since I'm currently using one, the air flow is poor and causes hdd and cpu to overheat.

That GTX 1050 is counterfeit and not actually a GTX 1050. It's a shame most GPUs on eBay are knock-off GPUs from China. I've reported the sellers many times over the past few years but they just keep increasing in the number of counterfeit GPUs listed.

Stick to the known brands: Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, Sapphire, XFX, Zotac, etc.
