Buying a new monitor help

Hey guys,

I am planning on finishing up my computer this winter, and I need help with the monitor selection. I've got a 960 FTW than can support DVI, HDMI, and Display-Port. I would like a 1080p monitor as well. This is going to be my first gaming computer so I don't need a 30 inch screen, something along the lines of 23-24 inches is plenty big.

I was thinking something like this, but had no idea if it was worth that price or if I can get the same performance and aesthetics for a cheaper price.

You can check out this 144hz cheap monitors. They are better for gaming, you want to have good gaming monitors.
You can get better once for around 260 but its entirely up to you

For gaming you want a ISP monitor, not TN. It makes a bit of a difference in vibrancy and just all around looks. I just got this monitor and couldn't be more pleased! It is actually less then your monitor and the current sale is pretty nice.

I will say, that is quite the nice monitor but my only withdraw is the performance of my build on that. I was kinda hoping to run most games on High-Ultra with about 60FPS. I know with a FX 8350 and a EVGA 960 you can do that fairly easily with 1920x1080 but I don't know how much the frame rate would drop with that size of monitor.
