I am currently looking to get a new gaming rig, as my old one is now broken. Unfortunately, I am relying on a gift card to a store that does not sell pc components, so building my own is kinda out of the question. I have narrowed it down to two options:
https://www.costco.com/iBUYPOWER-C-i18-Gaming-Desktop---Intel-Core-i9-7900X-X-Series---Intel-Optane-Memory---11GB-NVIDIA-GTX-1080Ti-Graphics.product.100367031.html

https://www.costco.com/Alienware-Area-51-Gaming-Desktop---Intel-Core-i7-7800X---11GB-NVIDIA-Graphics.product.100380369.html
I was just wondering which brand would be better, and which computer would be more future proof. Thanks in advance for anyone who can get back with me one this.

Solution
I would go with theiBUYPOWER C-i18 Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i9-7900X X-Series - Intel Optane Memory - 11GB NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti Graphics.

it has better specs and newer parts overall plus comes with 2 HDMI ports so if you wanted to go for a duel monitor it would easily handle it
