Hello,
I will build a new pc in a week, the configuration will be the following:

MotherBoard ASRock X670E PRO RS
SSD Samsung 980 PRO 1TB PCI Express 4.0 x4 M.2 2280
SSD Kingston NV2 2TB PCI Express 4.0 x4 M.2 2280
Ram Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL40 Dual Channel Kit
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7GHz box
Cooler CPU Corsair iCUE H150i RGB Elite Capellix XT white
Case Fractal design define 7 white tg clear tint
The psu is a corsair rm1000x

But i can t get a fair price on any new gen graphics cards, the 4070 Ti is 1100$ and the Radeon 7900 XT is 1200$.
So I got myself into thinking that a used GPU would be the better purchase, and I stumbled across a 3080 Ti which is 700$ .
I want more opinions on the matter as i think the 4070 Ti isn't worth so much money.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

I'd do a 180 on that idea. Best stick to a brand new GPU, one with warranty from a certified retailer.

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU in your proposed build.

Thanks, i would 4sure be on the same page as you on the new gpu but at this price it just seems laughable.
P.S. i edited the psu in a corsair rm1000x, thanks for the heads up

OP

possible outcomes..

you could get super lucky, and get a 3080ti for only $700 to happily game the night away. lol

or you could get unlucky, tricked to buy a nearly dead mined card, and be in despair. The world can be cruel.

it's a gamble with used cards.

Tough to give advice without knowing what your PC will be used for, what your resolution is, what your budget is for your build and what country you are located. I'm guessing you aren't located in the US seeing how an RTX 4070 Ti can be had for $800 in the US.

Sorry to keep you waiting, i will use this pc for streaming, recording and video editing but as i am at a start , streaming won`t be much of a priority for a year or two. Mainly i will use the videos as a bridge for my blog and youtube channel . And you guessed correctly i live in Romania .

P.S. Thanks for all of your advices I really took them into consideration , I am for now looking for a new card , hopefully i will get a good deal .
