I currently have this SSD https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/174249/SAMSUNG-MZVLW256HEHP-00000
and I want to buy one of those 2 https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compa...-Evo-Plus-NVMe-PCIe-M2-500GB/m485459vsm700020
I would like to buy the faster one (Samsung) but I'm unsure about power consumption as I find different information when searching.
Which one would you recommend for the ThinkPad T470 laptop?
As per this pdf Page 3 my old one is using 6W so it should not be a problem buying the faster one that's working on 5.8W
From this page I can see that the WD Black is using 0.110W
Here is the spec for the WD Black one which has the peek power in amps (2.8A), I can't convert it since I don't know the volts. While searching I found that the volts could be 3.3 but if that is true then the watts would be 9.24 which is much more than the Samsung one.
If 0.110W is correct than it would probably be better to buy the black one as it is going into a laptop.
Is this information correct? I would love to see your opinions.
