I am preparing to make a transaction for this pc. I am buying off from craigslist and he's offering $1000 for the following

- Processor: i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz, 4201 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
- Graphics: GTX 1060 6 GB
- Ram: 16GB
- HDD: 1 TB
- SSD: 150 GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Monitor: 27-inch 1920x1080 60 hz
- Keyboard & Mouse

I am told him to hold to the deal for few days for me to decide. Should I proceed? He said he'll do a live demonstration and everything over at my place

I would ask for less, those parts add up to about $1,000 new without the hard drives. Probably $750 would be a fair price for used stuff. You can add up the parts, take off 25% or so since the parts are pretty current.

The CPU is good, but it is overkill for a system with a 1060 video card. An i5 would be $150 cheaper and be just as good in games.
