Buzzing in ears regardless of headset swaps?

Ok so I just picked up a pair of Sennheiser game one headphones and in the left ear it gets a little buzzy from voice comms on discord as well as music. The thing is, I got a new headset because my previous Sennheiser PC 363D's had the same problem-they were also 2years old so I figured I'd get a new headset regardless. I don't think there is a problem with the headset itself, it's brand new, and this problem is reoccuring, my brothers logitech headset does the same thing. I'm guessing my motherboard/sound card is having an issue? Question would be, do I need a new motherboard or would purchasing a GSX 1000 amp/dac fix the issue?-Was planning on getting on anyways. Any help or input would be great thanks!

sometimes its just the placement of wires.. or if you have like a wifi access point too close to the wiring / speakers.. I have had that issue.. move things around and see if it stops.

There are a ton of wires all around it but not much room to move it to. But say it was the motherboard/soundcard, would an external amp/dac solve that problem?
