Every day my C drive space I getting smaller. I do not download anything except some music but that's saved on another drive.

When I select all the folders in C drive it says it's only taking 35GB, not 48. Look at the picture..

Could someone help please?

is this a laptop or desktop?

How much memory does the system have? if you have 8GB, the system has set aside 8GB for a pagefile/swap file.

Is hibernation enabled? If hibernation is enabled, the system reserves about 4GB for the hibernation file.

also hidden files might not be included in the space used count.

Hey there, Tommy.

Basically @Emerald has covered the possible issues pretty well. I just wanted to add a tutorial on how to free up some of your storage capacity and a way to find out what might be filling up your space. Check out this article http://www.howtogeek.com/125923/7-ways-to-free-up-hard-disk-space-on-windows/. Make sure that you check System Restore to see if there are a lot of System Restore points, which could also take up quite a lot of space.

Hope that helps.
