C: drive says more storage used that what is actually on the drive?!?

my (c drive says i have 656GB free of 916GB, but when i select everything that is in the drive and press properties, it says only 118gb is used in my pc. which should mean i have 798gb free not 656gb. so what is up why am i missing all that storage?

You're not seeing a whole lot of stuff
Hidden folders, Restore points, temp files.

check the value of restore point you could lower it to 4 % .
