3995WX 64c
128(16x8) 3200 ecc RDIMM by NEMIX
Radeon PRO W6800
1600 watt power

says code 15 for awhile before C5 error flags when boot fails
C5 error flags intermittently when populating all 8 DIMMS.
after each test I CMOS'd and booted.
Tested EACH "single card" in EACH "single DIMM" (1 card test) it boots, runs, play game, render scenes..
Tried sets of 4 in EVERY configuration amongst the 8 works fine boots, runs, playgame, render scenes..

Whenever I populate all each DIMMS with the NEMIX set 1/5 times I get booted up and within a few minutes it BSODs 4/5s time it C5 errors me..

Bought a bigger PSU(Above mentioned 1600 watt) still happens.
Today I swapped out some old G.Skill 3200 16x8 RAM currently works fine.. playing Vermintide, Rendered a scene in Blender, Even did some Unreal Engine test..

If all 8 NEMIX cards are okay(passing individual test) why does it C5 me with all 8?
Is it an ecc RDIMM issue? system says it should work with that and I assume if it was the issue then 1, 2, 4 or 8 cards... it would always fail? right?
Is my board bad?
Is the 7500 dollar CPU bad?

Please help.. I can't refund the Mobo, or RAM, but the CPU I have 25 days to get rid of.

it could be the mobo, the cpu, the ram, or combination of them all itself.
but try this step by step in order (read till end):
  • Disconnect from internet
  • Uninstall gpu driver using DDU (clean and do not restart).
  • Uninstall all the processors (is a must, should be 128 on yours, also when it asks for restart, click on no and keep uninstalling all processors) on device manager like this:

  • Uninstall AMD Chipset Software in control panel (if there is none, skip it.),

  • restart the pc to bios, then update to the latest bios, after update is done go to bios again and then load default or optimized settings, disable CSM, enable Above 4G Decoding and Resizable bar option if you want to (these 2 options wont be available unless CSM is disabled, and prolly wont available on your motherboard settings maybe?), then save and exit.

  • boot up to windows and install the latest Chipset driver (should be ver 4.03.xx), then reboot. Then update the firmware.

  • Install the latest gpu driver, and then connect to internet.
  • open cmd as admin, then do defrag (your ssd volume for example C: , if there are others then do the same for other volume) /l /u /v, after that then the same but /o /u /v to your entire ssd volume, then for hdd just do the same for all volume but do /d /o /u /v only, wait till it finishes.

*do this all offline until reboot after installing chipset driver, also you may reboot to bios after all of this to set the XMP (and previous settings you did). make sure ram is on slot 2 and 4 (a2 b2) if its 2 sticks only, Download needed files (highlighted word) before doing step 1, do the step in orders.

  • Run cmd as admin, then do chkdsk /x /f /r, after that do sfc /scannow.

  • And check windows update if there is any and install them (except optional update). Don't forget to turn on Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (Nvidia GPUs only) in graphics settings and reboot.

  • Make sure the psu connected to the gpu is 1 pcie cable per 1 slot (use main cable, not the branches/split) like this:

Facing similar issues, any luck?

Out of curiosity, did you use TR CPU torque wrench when you installed the CPU? Did you follow the order of screw numbers?

Is your CPU pads intact?
