Hello, so i bought some “Asiahorse” cable extensions for my PC, my pc turns on fine.. had no problems until now..

but i found out something that concerns me..
My PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower GF 850w (brand new) and my cpu cable is 16AWG while all of my extension cables are 18AWG..
My other PSU cables are also 18AWG (like 24pin and pcie).. only the cpu cable is 16AWG

should i be concerned?
Would this be a problem?

16 gauge is thicker than 18 gauge, so no not a problem.

EPS connector is rated for 336W, while an 8-pin PCIe connector is only rated at 150W, so thinner wires is fine.

However, when you have multiple PCIe 8-pin connectors on a single modular cable, it is common for the wire gauge to be 16.
