Cablemod C-series 24 pin ATX Cable on 28 pin ATX

If I get a RM1000i for a black and white themed PC build will the cables (e.g. https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-c-series-axi-hxi-rm-cable-kit-black-white/) of Cablemods C-series AXi/HXi/RM, the set has a 24 pin ATX cable male to female but on the RM1000i there is a 28 pin ATX to 24 pin ATX on the motherboard, will the 24 pin work with the 28 pin connector? I know there are RMi versions of Cablemods but I can't find any in the UK

Oh yes sorry, I think I confused you with my wording in the question though, I looked at pictures of the HX1000i and the RM1000i and there seems to be 4 more pins on the 24 Pin ATX on the RM1000i which is confusing me.

Well I looked into the RM1000i and apparently those 4 extra pins are sense wires if I go for Corsair type 3 cables or Cablemod cables will I get a disadvantage losing the 4 pins or will the PSU not function without those pins being used?

The 24-pin of the Type 4 cable set also has a unique feature not implemented in the standard Type 3 cables. There are a total of 28-pins where the cable plugs into the PSU's modular interface, instead of the usual 24-pins. The extra four pins are "sense wires". While a +3.3V sense is part of the ATX standard and is found on most PSUs, it is not often implemented. The RMi not only utilizes the +3.3V sense on the ATX connector, but also utilizes an additional +12V sense and +5V sense. These sense wires read the voltages at the load (the end of the cable) and can increase voltage automatically if voltages drop.
