I'm having a build done by someone and am vertically mounting a gigabyte vision 3070 in a lancool 2 mesh case. He originally bought the lian li vertical mount but there was issues with the pcie extender cables. He had a cablemod one in stock and is using that.
Am I losing anything or gaining anything going with the cablemod vs the one designed for the case. Honestly it looks big and pushes it out like 2-3 inches compared to others I've seen.

Solution
They are all same.
The high end ones feature stronger pcie cables, but appart from the design they are the same.
You wont lose/gain any performance, but since its mounted vertically, expect higher temps.
