So ive been working on my first build today and spent probably ~8 hours on it and and have run into a bunch of problems.

I tried installing my 24 pin cable and made the mistake of connecting the 20 pin first (it did go in all the way) which did not allow me to connect the 4 pin. So I spent around half an hour trying to pull the 20 pin out. At this point i gave up as the bottom of my cable only had a gap of ~2mm. However, I was able to squeeze in the 4 pin connector through the side and it was fully connected with no gaps. However, the 20 pin connector no longer went in all the way and left gaps on either side varying in size in the 1-4mm range as i could push the cable left and right. The cable couldnt latch down so i tried removing the whole thing but the skin from my fingers are literally falling off from all the pulling. Yes, i pressed down to release the latch and tried moving it side to side applying so much force I was scared I was gonna break my mobo. However, i only got a maximum gap of probably 3mm. Is this safe, will I fry my motherboard If i try booting it?

My usb 3.0 cable is also very flimsy and im afraid i may have bent pins. Im fine with not being able to use the front 3.0 but will leaving it connected, or it being broken cause any major problems?

My Cpu power (the 4+4 cable) also has a gap of ~2mm and does not latch, I think. It is pretty hard to see whether it does, same for the 24 pin. However, i have also pushed this with all my might. This isnt flimsy/wobbly. It has a very slight move which is barely anything if i move the cable.

My hd audio also does not connect all the way, pins are visible but no matter how hard i push it wont go in.

I am afraid I have messed up massively and even broke some things but I can't afford to buy new parts/ not be able to use this pc at all. Any help/ suggestions is massively appreciated.
