VGA Port

You will need a converter. Either "HDMI to VGA" or "DVI-D to VGA".

I might have mis-understood, but I don't think so.
Here is a link for a "VGA to HDMI" converter with some drawings to help you get it right. Double and Triple check that you are getting the right converter.

The image goes from the PC to the screen, not the other way around. The other way around is a bit like saying that you put the oven around the cake to bake.
