Hi, don't really know if this is the right category but wasn't sure which to put it in.

I am getting the NZXT Phantom 410 with its small window at the top, and side vent for fan at bottom on the side. I am not placing a fan here, and rest of fan positions will all be filled, so cooling is ok.

I like the design on the case and the features it has, plus it is the perfect size to fit on my desk, but I would prefer a bigger window.

two questions really,

1 - would it invalidate my case warranty if I cut a larger window out, and

2 - would the following service be suitable for this, (never built a pc before, let alone had a go at cutting a case open).

yes and yes.
cases come with a very limited warranty often its only about 90 days.
if you physically damage it yourself (modding is physically damaging it in there eyes), then there is no cover if you get it wrong.

as they specifically offer a service for your case then yes they should be safe to use. but see what kind of guarantee they offer on there workmanship before you put any money down or send them your side panel.
if there any good they wont mind answering any questions you have.
