I know this ia a real newbie question, but I can't seem to find the answer elsewhere: how do you determine your CPU temperature? Is there a popular utility that measures it?

Thanks. Seems like a great program, but it didn't support my motherboard -- according to MBM5, I'm running MINUS 62c. Beat *that* with watercooling! <g>

Well, no worries, now I see how it's done. I'm not ccncerned about temps in my old system, which I plan to replace anyway, but in the new system, and chances are that MBM 5 will support that. SANDRA also locks up my present system, too.

You can see your cpu idle temps in BIOS. Often under the section called "PC Health"

Mobile XP 2600+ (11X200)
Abit NF7-S v 2.0
Maxtor 60GB ATA 133 7200RPM
512MB Corsair Twinx 3200LL
BBA 9800 Pro
Enermax Noisetaker 420 watts
Win2K sp4

Thanks to all for your answers. I downloaded MBM 5 yesterday, and think it was the latest. As for Sandra -- I'll try the vacuum!
