Alright so... I need someone to tell me if my Calculations are correct. I am trying to figure out how to calculate Ram Bandwidth, this is what I came up with...
Alright so here's how I calculated my ram bandwidth:

I have 4GB of Kingston HyperX ram clocked at 1066Mhz, 2 sticks.(DDR2, DUEL CHANNEL MODE!)
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit.

The formula that I ended up with is:

"Ram Frequency" x "Windows Bit Architecture"
---------------------------------------------------------------
8Bits

"1,066,000,000 Hz" x "64Bits"
-------------------------------------
8Bits

With that formula I calculated a speed of 8,528MB/s... The thing I don't get is, should I double that because I have 2 sticks of Ram running in Duel Channel mode?... In which case I end up with about 17,056MB/s

Are you calculating practical or theoretical limits?

Practically speaking, RAM bandwidth is limited by any number of factors. Chipset, memory control unit, processor memory caching speeds, etc.

I was calculating theoretical limits
