Hi, I would like to start the whole series Call of Duty in solo mode but after downloading the first Call of Duty, when I run the game in solo or in multiplayer the Call of Duty logo appears, followed by a black screen during 5-10 seconds and a return to the desktop without any error messages.

I specify that I have Windows 10 and a GTX 460. I tried different techniques to launch the game, without success; I renamed the launcher "mohaa.exe", I changed the parametes for 16 bits sounds, I tested the compatibility's parameters and Legacy Components/Direct Play.

And finally, I installed and uninstalled the game several times without it working.

Could you help me to solve this problem ?
I thank in advance all the people who will help me to solve this problem. :)

If your system has integrated graphics you can also try forcing it to use your discrete GPU by setting Preferred Graphics Processor in Nvidia Control Panel to High-performance NVIDIA processor.

I would also be careful what driver you use for a model of GPU that old. Often times with Nvidia GPUs you have to roll back to older drivers for models that are several gens old.
