[citation][nom]ricdiculus[/nom]@ dtq,Please dont hate for this, but i was kinda talking about consoles displayed on a lcd tv[/citation]
ah, I see, sorry I think of this place as a "computer site" and assume the pc to be the majoritys default gaming system. My bad 😀 so many people hooking their pcs up to LCD TV's for gaming purposes now I just assumed you were "one of those". Consoles and TV's aren't my thing at all(I use a projector hooked up to a pc for big screen content). Nvidias 3d vision (and the similiar dlp 3d system) has a lot going for it, active glasses and alternating left \ right eye images is to my mind a really good way to achieve 3d for pc gaming. Backwards compatibility for the games is great and even hardware wise, people with decent old CRT's can even use the glasses with those - no need for a new screen!
Have to say the console 3d thing I have no idea specifically which technology its based on I'm not overly impressed with many of the 3d systems based on passive glasses, or very limited viewing angles.
