the latecy is over 100 many games now and it lags my games tried everything and still can't get it back down to 40 only sometimes it stays on 40 but shoots high any help

Just your computer or do all network devices have similar problems

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Modem and router: Make and model information.

Start by checking that all incoming connections from your ISP and all other internal network connections are fully and firmly connected.

Inspect wires for signs of damage, no kinks, crushing, nicks showing bare conductor, etc.

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance while gaming. (Use both but just one at a time.)

Determine what resources are being used, to what extent (%), and what is using the resource.
