i just bought a new graphics card which is much better than my old one since i had interrgrated graphics and had troubles runnng call of duty warzone because i wanted to play it. my new graphics card came and i was eager to try it out so i immediately benchmarked it and it tests fine and barely crashed ever (the new graphics card is an rx 580 4gb) so when i was pleased with that i went onto call of duty warzone and i started it up only for it to crash and i was displayed with a driver error notification from amd. this is really confusing me since i know it can run other games much faster and my old graphics processor could run it without crashing (all though very poorly)

You need to download and update the drivers of the card, you can do that on AMD's site.

Also, I'll give you a heads up:
AMD cards are notoriously glitchy in COD.
My friend with an rx 5700XT has minor graphical glitches, while my friend with an RX 470 has so many bugs the game is literally unplayable, but all of my other friends on either console or a NVIDIA card have no problem at all.
Though this applies only to COD, and this is just a sample size of 2.

Problem is probably with the already installed drivers. Try running Display Driver Uninstall with a handy tutorial right here:

Recommended usage

  • You MUST disconnect your internet or completely block Windows Update when running DDU until you have re-installed your new drivers.
  • DDU should be used when having a problem uninstalling/installing a driver or when switching GPU brand.
  • DDU should not be used every time you install a new driver unless you know what you are doing.
  • DDU will not work on network drive. Please install in a local drive (C:, D: or else).
  • The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
  • If you are using DDU in normal mode, Clean, reboot, clean again, reboot.
  • Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
  • It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.
