Hello.

I'm currently having low fps in Warzone, I can get up to 60 fps in low quality or empty areas but it drops to 45 fps in other areas, even though graphics settings are set to very low. Except Anti-aliasing to T2X.

This is my current config:
Gpu: gtx 1060 6gb from msi
Cpu: i5 4590s
Ram : 16gb DDR3 1600mhz (8x2)
Mb: Asus z97 deluxe

If it is because of my bad cpu or ram, please advise me to what I should upgrade, please note that my motherboard doesn't support cpus higher than 5th generation. If it requires a motherboard upgrade, tell me also.
My budget now is around 500€

For warzone your processor is the slowest part since it can use more cores.

If it's the CPU that is holding you back....you'll need a new MB and CPU.
Hello. Thank you for your response.

The CPU usage in the game is 100%. Can you confirm if its the cpu that is giving me 45 fps ?
How much fps do you think I will get if I upgrade my cpu to ryzen 7 3xxx and still use gtx 1060 6gb?

If the CPU usage in game is 100% I think it's likely holding you back.
Just out of curiosity.....what is GPU usage?
That CPU and MB are pretty outdated.
I'd upgrade just because I think you are going to get held back on a lot of games in the future with that CPU.

GPU usage.. not much, around 50%-60% in medium settings

Hi... i also play warzone with a GTx 1060

you might want to try my settings:
-Set your settings all to low (do not set to very low)
  • Set your AA to SMAA TX2 Filmic
  • Enable "dynamic framerate resolution target"
  • set the slider of the dynamic frame rate to 300
  • enable nvidia relex low latency to the mid setting

these are the settings that helped me get a decent playable experience... may look cartoonish but you will get used to it.
Warzone is a terrible game, not optimized. the FPS drop you experience are normal, due to the decorations in the map. try looking at nakatomi plaza's glass roof with lots of trees... the framerate dips down at that area. the Developers will not optimized the code because it will be difficult for them to change the big chunk of code when they add updates and new textures... , it takes time and lots of team technical meetings (they might be working remotely due to COVID).
