Question Can´t make windows 10 (or my GPU ) recognize my 4k hdr10 TV as 10 bit hdr display

Hello, I have an nvidia gtx 1060 6 gb in my cpu and I´m running windows 10 (last build) I bought a samsung NU7100 hdr 10 and plugged it to my gpu via hdmi with an hdmi 2.0 capable cable. My problem is that colors and shadows look funky in all video players, and windows doesn´t detect it as a 10 bit hdr display, but as 8 bit rgb color. (see attached) what am I missing ?

I'm assuming you're on Windows 10 version 1909? If so, while connected to the internet, see if manually checking for updates resolves the issue you're seeing. The other step you can take is uninstall your GPU drivers using DDU and reinstall with the latest drivers from Nvidia's support site.

Firmware of the TV is up to date?

Try a HDMI 2.0b premium certified cable

Under expert settings I don´t have an option for HDR+ enabled. I have the latest firmware on my TV.

I have the latest drivers for my video card. How can i check if my cable is hdmi 2.0 ? is there a software to test it ?

Radio shack, I paid 25 dlrs. It only says 4k hdmi
